“Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!” —Nehemiah 4:14
Yvonne: My son is my firstborn (he has a sister 2 years younger). I remember as if it were yesterday when I was in the hospital when he was born, I woke up the first night he was sleeping in his cot next to me, and I heard a baby crying. It took me a while to realize that it was my son crying, and I got up and stood next to his little crib, and I remember saying to myself: "Well, what do I do now?"
In that moment, the full realization of who this little baby was that I was responsible for, hit me like a ton of bricks. At that time, I was not a Christian yet, but still looking back, I could see his Heavenly Father protecting him and teaching me how to take care of our precious little son.
Now, years later, he is a teenage boy, and I want to thank my Husband for my wonderful son whom I have had the wonderful privilege and pleasure of homeschooling the last 5 years. Here are some praises I wrote about him for you to get to know him too.

With my Husband and Owen's Heavenly Father, we will go through the resources for boys and leave comments with a blog post every 4th Thursday with links to the comments.
Jewel: My son (Jaden) is my greatest blessing in life. I remember when I was like 7 months pregnant I felt some strong contractions and I was frighthened, and I said to my son,in my belly; "hey it´s not time yet so, you stay there until its the right time!" I asked my Lord for health and I remember telling Him, I´d do my best to raise my boy in his road, and his way, the right and best way I know about.
It has been eleven years since then, and now I have a tall-handsome and sweet boy that hugs and kisses me more than I can count daily (my Heavenly Husband through him) out of pure love, asking nothing in return. He is taking piano classes, likes to play "handball" and video games and enjoys singing on the children´s choir of the church I grew-up in, and go around singing to the elders to give encouragement.
The road has been a bit rocky because, he also is on a restoration journey, but at every step my Heavenly Husband has shown that HE was, is and will be right here with us, being his Heavenly Father. With my HH and Jaden we will be reading the young boys resources commenting and sharing PR every 2nd Thursday of the month.
Adina: My son (Joshua) is my second child; he is 3 years younger than my daughter. I got married at 35 and after my daughter was born, I was adamant that I only want one child, but after my daughter (Elaine) turned two, He placed the desire in my heart to have a second child. And today my son is such a huge blessing in my life, he is always ready to give me a hug and a kiss and to just say: "I love you mommy."
I am amazed to see how Joshua is growing up, I remember while he was playing an online game with one of his friends, Joshua started to tell his friend that he needs to pray and just talk to the Lord, his Heavenly Father. Joshua is also the one that always prays when we do our evening Bible reading, and it always touches my heart to hear him talk to his Heavenly Father. He is also my little helper, when I need something to be put together or fixed, he is always there to help me.
I am also privileged to homeschool my children now, and Joshua is flourishing. He is also a huge soccer fan and recently started soccer lessons which he really enjoys.
Joshua, his Heavenly Father, and I will work through the resources for boys and leave comments below the lessons on the second Monday of each month.
Janine: I am the mum of 2 boys, my eldest who is 28 will soon be married and my youngest 19, also a young adult and in his last year of school. I enjoy every part of being a mother of my two sons.
Because they are not anymore at the age where I can sit and read with them, my Husband led me to do thankfulness therapy with them and although they may not always eagerly take part, I can text them my thankfulness which has a positive response back. And while my youngest is living with me, we can do the thankfulness therapy every morning and with this I want to encourage young mums to start early with thankfulness therapy, because it has changed my life to rather focus of what you have and not what you don't.
Hand in hand with my Heavenly Husband, my son's Heavenly Father, I will do a blogpost every last Wednesday of the Month, regarding Thankfulness Therapy or any other Blogpost my Husband leads me to do.
I am so grateful that He brought the ministry to start these new branches, especially the Sons Branch as a mother of three boys. After experiencing three miscarriages and fearing I would never carry a child to term, these three blessings are truly an answer to many years of prayer. With God, all things are possible!
My sons are now 22, 19, and the “baby” is 10 years old. My oldest is incredibly intelligent, compassionate, and always ready to help others. While he isn’t a believer yet, I eagerly await that day. He is responsible, works, enjoys music, gaming, and playing the drums. My middle son is a caring and calm young man who wants to see justice for everyone – a wonderful transformation from his defiant and hyper younger years. He loves entertainment wrestling, collecting action figures, and listening to music and has recently joined a paid job training for those with disabilities. My youngest is very bright and academically advanced, although he would prefer almost anything over schoolwork. He has played baseball since he was four, recently started and enjoyed basketball, and also likes gaming.
Working with my Beloved I am going to share praises from myself and my sons on the HGM blog, and I will possibly be sharing that days My Beloved Children's Devotional around the last week of each month or as He leads. I’m looking forward to connecting with other ladies here and learning about their sons!
