A calling

We received this from a dear bride....

"It swells my heart to see how He moves to draw others into His presence. Praised be our God because a testimony of his mercy and love is raised, because He uses a young woman to bring more young people and children to Him.
Before, I want to confess that sometimes there is some hopelessness when seeing how attacked and vulnerable our children and the young people around us are. But blessed be God who keeps waking up the sleeping hearts. Thanks to his inexhaustible love, he keeps knocking on doors and many still want to open them.
One of my dear friends published on her WhatsApp status: "The Lord put my pride to the test and has called my daughter to serve" and faced with a tremendous confession, I was surprised and continued reading the letter that accompanied the post. It was the statement of her/ His daughter, who was no more than 20 years old, who was postponing her university scholarship to accept an impressive call from the Lord to take his Good News to the other side of the continent in Bosnia. And to contextualize, she has been a very diligent girl in her studies, who received a scholarship and learned 3 languages, which she will now put at the service of the Lord, since she is going to carry His Word in English, being a native Spanish speaker. It is amazing that a young woman today would give up everything she has, her comforts, her college dreams, and the life she has built outside of her native country to follow His Voice.
It makes me happy that my Beloved God calls his sheep like that. To give everything for Him. To go beyond our own ideas, plans or thoughts.
My God, I praise you and I thank you for this move in the lives of children, youth and young adults who are hungry and thirsty for you. I praise you because by allowing me to see this testimony from a close friend, you encourage me to homeschool for you. I don't know your plans, my seeing eyes are still blind to understand and measure your plan but when I put my trust in you, you set my children aside for yourself and do your good, pleasant and perfect will.

**My dear Mia, wow!!!! This is an amazing praise!! This remind me about the story of Amy Carmichael!!
His plans are always better than ours!!
We have a tremendous blessing to train up our children for Him!!
This reminded me of this text: "As Christians we are called to train our children, which also includes their education, for Him. That means that we should have our goal and our sights forever on the spiritual excellence of each of our children and homeschool them for spiritual growth, NOT for educational excellence"

Chapter 1 “Glory Bound”

Thank you for sharing this post!!

  1. This is such an awesome praise, I was just reminded of our comments in Hope At Last yesterday where we spoke about young people being concerned about their “image” and so “self focused” praise God for this young women who decided to rather focus on others. May the Lord bless her superabundantly in her missionary field!!

    1. I’m quite happy to read this from you sweet Atarah. As always, it’s never a coincidence to be driven by the same fact.
I invite you to consider her in your prayers. 🔥

  2. You know we have some remaining things in our mindset. Thanks to God, He sets me free of prior knowledge to His wisdom and intelligence.
Thanks for giving me a reminder of important lessons to study again and again.
Pdta. It seems to me I have a problem when replying comments. May you check it out, please?

  3. Isabella, how did you know this was Mia who posted this? It shows “rmiadmin” as the author, which is me and it’s why I was confused trying to read it and be engaged.
We discussed this a bit in https://the-praise-report.com/messy-or-missing-menu/
#2. You be YOU. Don’t post using anyone else’s name, particularly mine. It helps to identify who to contact.

Now, however, my Husband explained you must have gotten this from somewhere else… RRR perhaps? If so, begin by stating that first, like, “Hello, today was my day to cover the RRR office, and I found this question/comment from Mia… “It swells my heart to see how He moves to draw others into His presence.

Then be sure to reply to Mia and ask her to post it herself…

This a journey for ALL of us, so as we go, He will perfect what He started in this new process of letting our lights shine and also in us THANK GOD hahaha because I am continuously learning!!

    1. Yes my dear, when I changed to post it Mia didn´t show as the author, but Adina, I don´t know why, so I changed to rmiadmin
      😅

      1. Oh, I understood this but the reason I took the time to comment was to explain HOW to do it in the future and to fix this one.

I had submitted one TA and it appears in young ladies blog and I had never visited it and sweet Poppy asked me to post it again.
Also, each time I tried to reply any comment it is sent to a black list.
I’m so sorry for any inconvenience.
