He is working in my daughter’s heart

For quite a while now I was concerned about my daughter. Something didn’t feel right, the things she said and the way she acted. I thought it might be the changes she is going through when she became a big girl, but I still talked to my HH about it.

Last week they were staying with me, normally she is in her room and just wants to be alone. About 4 years ago I bought my daughter an art Bible, it’s sparkly pink and blue with pictures you can color in or do scrapbooking in. It is an AFR NLV Bible. Last week I caught her many times, sitting on her bed with the Bible open, reading or colouring. She loves to draw, and I bought her two sets of artists pens which she uses to write and draw in her Bible. I didn’t say anything but just praised my Husband for what I am witnessing. I also found some of her art, things like the Lord’s Prayer with flowers around it. Sunday, she came to me and asked me if I will buy her an ENG bible because she finds the AFR bible difficult to read, PTL! I will go and have a look if I can find an ENG or AFR Message Bible that will be easier for her to read and understand, for my son as well.

I also have another praise regarding my daughter, this past weekend she asked me if her friend (my previous neighbour’s daughter, her BFF) can come and visit her the weekend because it is school holiday here in South Africa. I agreed although there was always something bothering me about the girl, I talked to my Husband about it, thinking maybe it is just me or my imagination because she is not a bad girl and I really tried to embrace her when she was visiting. But after this weekend He answered me, after the girl’s mom came to pick her up, my daughter immediately pulled me into the bedroom and asked me if her Heavenly Father can speak to her through dreams. I said yes He can and then asked her why she is asking me. She told me that she had a dream the previous night, while her friend was there, in which her HF told her that her friend have a bad influence on her and she doesn’t know what to do because she doesn’t want to lose her friendship. So, I told her to talk to her HF about the dream and about her friend, and to ask Him to lead her in this and in what to do. Hearing this, how she acknowledges Him and His guidance, and seeing my daughter reading her Bible without me telling her to do it, brings me so much joy, knowing my Husband is working in her heart and revealing Himself to her.
