Saturdays I usually have our groceries delivered to our house because I’m in a season where going to the store with three littles is a bit challenging. I used to love to go grocery shopping and am excited for when that will occur again.
But that is not the point of me sharing some praise this morning. As I was saying, Saturday we were expecting our food to be delivered in a few minutes. I was thankful because we were running low on items and wanted to prepare a nice meal for my family.
When I went to bring the bags in, I noticed I was missing quite a bit of food. At first I admit I was very irritated and frustrated with the inconvenience. I knew this was testing my ability to have a gentle and quiet attitude no matter what’s going on. I then had to call the store to report the missing items. The store was able to give us a refund. However, that didn’t replace the items I was missing.
I wasn’t excited about having to bring everyone to the grocery store but decided it was best. We were actually able to find better products for our family instead. The girls behaved beautifully!
After we were done shopping, I saw a little store where the girls could get coloring books.
So needless to say my Husband not only replaced our missing foods with healthier options, but also blessed my daughters with small gifts. I’m so thankful to have a Husband who not only cares about my inconveniences but cares enough to also bless us when we have the right attitude!
My dear Elda this is so beautiful!! I can relate with this situation a lot!! I remember the first time I went back shopping with the twins and Bethia!! People starred at me because I took 2 cars, one for the twins and one for the groceries 😅.My Beloved was with me the whole time and He directed us to get everything cheap and as fast as I could never imagine!
Now I go with the twins and Alicia and with Him!! Praise Him we will never be alone anymore and that in the way He blessed our children as well!!
