Dear Brides,
All praise and gratitude🙌 I want to give to my Lord for giving me the opportunity and wisdom to begin to teach the boys He has placed under my care His promises and principles.
So this morning after breakfast I had them sit on both sides while I was reading the story chapter 1 “Mighty Warrior”. Both boys were very curious when I told them I was going to introduce them to the Best Friend they could have forever. I myself was eight years old when I was taken to Sunday school with my mother. The boys are now 8 years old. And 8 is the number that represents new beginnings. It’s amazing how excited they have been listening to the story of Erin who had to go home alone on the bus. But didn’t know she wasn’t alone at all. For example, before the start of a new school week, the boys have learned that if there is anything they need help with, they can always ask their Best Friend.
Last week it was a week full of turmoil and conflict moments for each of my boys. Although I have long had in my heart the desire to share these Wise Man books with my boys. Does He know when it’s the right time to do.
I close my first Sunday with Him, and my children engrossed in His Word and promises. My heart overflows with joy.
Oh Kristine, my heart is overflowing for you and your boys. Thank you for sharing this beautiful praise. Growing up I learned about God, but never really grasped the reality of having Him as a Friend and now a Heavenly Husband. Now seeing the fruits in my own children, it is so amazing that they know who their Father and Friend is and they can run to Him with anything.
Wow my dear!! Such an amazing journey is ahead of you!!! Having twins is an adventure and just teaching them that they have a best friend and that their prayers matter is a blessing!!!
