My Beloved taking care of my daughter’s heart

Just now I had to run to my room to cry to Him and also thank Him for being this incredible Man, Husband, and Father that He is to me and my daughter.
My daughter read the beautiful Devotional My Beloved Child: Daily Devotional JUNE 2 (https://homegrownministries.com/profilegrid_blogs/my-beloved-child-daily-devotional-june-2/), written by Erin and shared by Isabella here on HomeGrown, and when she finished reading it she said she wanted to make a comment. So I let her write it and when I read it, I couldn't hold back the tears. In the comment, she said that she was a few days ago with her heart hurt, and I remembered that yes, she came to me, saying that...

I need to tell you that about 15 days ago I had to take her to the doctor. She was coughing a lot, with a runny nose, and had to stay out of school for 1 week, taking antibiotics, and the next week right after finishing the medication, she still had a headache... and that made my heart sink. Because the antibiotic was to fight a sinusitis that was very strong, and even so she still had a headache.
We went back to the doctor and he said that the headache could be due to something she was experiencing, some oppression, difficulty, something like that...
And that's when I took it to the Lord, telling Him that He more than I knew what was going on in my daughter's heart, and that whatever it was, that He would help her and give me also of His wisdom to to be able to minister to my daughter's heart.
Unfortunately, her earthly father has moved away from her a lot in recent months, we don't know the cause, but I, as a mother, noticed this distancing from him, and I also realized that she was feeling it, but I took it to my Husband, asking him not to let my daughter suffer for it, but that He would fill her whole heart with His love.
And going back to the comment that Brincy put in today's devotional, it came to my mind that what I spoke to her that day served so that she could look at Him and not at the circumstances that were happening to her.
And I want to praise my Beloved for providing another nutritious food to our children daily here on the Blog, because I know that many little hearts can be reached by these encouragements, just as one day I could be so encouraged by what I read daily.
Thank you my Beloved for using Erin's life to go further than we could have imagined and dreamed of, as we arrived hoping for the speedy restoration of our marriages, only to discover that He had much bigger plans so that we and our children could live in His side, which is the best place to be.

  1. My dear Marta, this praise has touched my heart so much!!! First I just want to share that my heart was filled with joy when I read Brincy´s comment!! The Lord is working through these devotionals!!! And then reading this praise gave the confirmation to know that our Beloved is setting our children apart for Him!!
I just reminded Bethia this morning about the beauty of going to her Heavenly Father, who can fill her with everything she needs!!! They don´t need an earthly friend, but their BFF!!!
I love the way He is healing our children and helping them to trust only on Him!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing!!!

    1. It’s true dear Isabella, He is working far beyond what we can imagine. Right now I’m here with my tasks and Brincy is reading today’s devotional, and I love seeing the smile on her face, and the certainty in her heart that grows stronger each day, in being able to count on her Father and Friend at all times .

  2. I’m just coming here after finishing 3 more devotionals for the month of June and I can’t tell you how much I love doing these with my Husband and your children’s Father. I ask Him which Bible version He wants me to use, how He wants to greet them, and if I am ever not sure, I leave it to Him to lead me to what HE wants.
He knows each of them personally—He knows and counts the hairs on their heads—He’s captured every tear.
Dear mothers, remember it’s you who took their Father as His bride—so that your precious children could have the BEST!!

    1. It’s true Erin darling, when I took Him as my Husband, that’s what I said to Him, please my Beloved, also be the Father that Brincy not only wants, but the Father that she needs. And He of course, did beyond. Now she has a Heavenly Father and a best Friend.
