Hello mums, aunts, grannies, carers and nurturers.
On a Friday my son writes a spelling test at school. He does not do very well and He get’s really low marks. Like zero, two, four out of 30… He does remarkably well in maths but spelling and reading he does not like so much!
I have been speaking to my Husband about my son and this since He started school and it has been an ongoing situation which He has really covered with His grace over these years.
This year his teacher recommended a tutor and I looked online for tutors here where I live. After speaking to Him He closed the doors to other 2 other places I tried calling and I was left with the tutor his teacher recommended. This tutor has no formal teacher training, all she has is that she home-schools her own children and has a passion for helping struggling kids. This woman turned out to be someone I could share the WW book and principles I learned here at the ministry with. I think I will share more about her and what a blessing she has been to my life in another praise.
But to get back to my praise she has been helping my son coming to tutor him for about a month. She suggested that I go over his words this morning before the test. My Husband led me to start by praying with my son and then go over his words with him.
So he comes home and I ask him “How did the test go?” He says mom I got 10/30 for my spelling, 10/20 for Afrikaans and 10/12 for maths”. Well!!! can I just start by saying that this is a BIG improvement in all these subjects!!! Compared to how He did before! For me this is something to be very thankful for!!!
Then he reminds me and says ” Well mom remember we prayed? And God answered”. Yes He answered and He is so faithful and I just know that this is the beginning. Because I know that as time goes by I will be back with MORE praise to share!! Because I know that is just how my Husband operates in praise, when we share small praises it leads to those BIG ONES :))
Isn’t this beautiful?!? The fact that your son is the one who reminded you that you had indeed prayed, is just as much of a testimony, maybe even more so than the results of his improvement. Seeing so many powerful praises, I am in fact, assumed that he would’ve gotten 100% but when I asked my husband, he reminded me that when he provides an excursion or side journey, it’s the opportunity to secure another blessing/testimony to add to our ministry portfolio.

“Meditate on his word day and night” because this principle I learned from a man who had failed 2 to 3 grades – – she actually flunked, and had to be held back until he began memorizing large portions of scripture.
With your son in mind, Atarah, being so young, my husband had me and Vision just thinking about one Promise sitting by his bed that he read before he went to sleep at night, and when he woke up in the morning! Armed with this “sword of the spirit, which is the word of God” I believe he could easily slay this enemy and conquer it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💗💗💗🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Thanks do much Erin!! He is so happy to have a mimi now 😃 I read this to him and He got soooo excited, his doing his homework so l will read it again to him again before he sleeps. Funny thing is l have been feeling the pressing by my Husband to put scriptures up on his wall, l even bought prestik the other day & more cardboard to write scripture. So we will get these scriptures written down & up on his wall beside his bed! Thank you for sharing this you won’t know How much it means 🤗

My sweet Atarah, what an amazing praise!! That is all it takes, baby steps!! His HF is taking him to depend on Him for everything!! His improvment just show how our Beloved is renewing his mind and helping your son to go to Him for everything!!
