“Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice”
—1 Samuel 15:22
"There’s no doubt it would be a sacrifice to sell his car, and that his sacrifice would not impress God. How often have we tried to do something to make things right, only to find that we are in the same or a worse situation?
What kind of obedience was I talking about? Instead of sacrificing, learning to obey God’s principles in regard to his dilemma, in other words, what does God say in His Word regarding our money?"
