When God Changes Hearts: A Journey of Trust, Grace, and Transformation

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other.” EPH 4.31-32

My dear brides,

For a long time, I didn’t understand my younger son’s behaviour. His outbursts of anger, his stubbornness, his way of doing things on his own...All of it troubled me deeply. But my Beloved, my Heavenly Father, taught me another way: The way of a gentle and quiet spirit, the way that wins without a word. The way that leaves the Father to touch hearts. So, when he went to a friend’s birthday party during the week, I didn’t react out of fear, I didn’t try to control him. I left him in his Heavenly Father's hands.

And this morning… oh, this morning, my son himself called me, not to ask for permission, but to inform me with respect: “Mom, I’m going to school. I just wanted to let you know.” It wasn’t by my strength that this happened, but through the gentleness of the One who transforms.

Isn’t it wonderful, dear brides, when it’s our Heavenly Father who changes hearts?

Connecting to the HomeGrown ministry is the most wonderful thing I can experience again, because I no longer focus on the events, but on loving the Heavenly Father who takes care of my children.

  1. Thank you, Kateleen, for reminding me that my children have a Heavenly Father who loves them and knows them better than I do. He imagined them, dreamed them, thought them through, and created them.

I am sometimes still too controlling with them, but I know that God is working within me.

Yes, my Beloved, thank you for taking care of your children. Sometimes I am overwhelmed or saddened by their behavior, but I know that through these trials you want to meet them and have a special relationship with them.

Thank you for helping me understand my role as a mother. Grant me this gentle and peaceful spirit with them as well. And come and touch their hearts.
