Most of us, as wives and homeschool mothers, want to have a home that is clean, orderly and runs smoothly; however, most of us do not. Many of us are too busy with outside activities. Most families today live amidst chaos and disorder.
Is there sin in your life that is keeping you in disorder? James 3:16 tells us: “For where jealousy and selfish ambition exists, there is disorder and every evil thing.” Are your ambitions causing you to devote your life and your lifestyle to so many outside activities and commitments? Are you exchanging peacefulness for disorder? This disorder in your home causes strife, and strife is what will inevitably and eventually lead you and your husband to separate and divorce. Prov. 17:1 tells us: “Better is a dry morsel and quietness with it than a house full of feasting with strife.”
