You are right Isabella, we are so blessed to live in a country where we can get fresh food every single day. Probably it is something cultural, not so sure, but my mum also taught me about buying a little bit more of your groceries so in case of anything like having guests in your house, then there is no need to run to purchase at the very last minute. By doing so, it also allowed us to save some money.
Yes, hehehe it is a mom thing and is one of the best things ever!!
