When I read this book I was amaze!! I remember when I was growing up and how must of the times I felt alone and disconnected!! Nobody understood me!!

Yesterday my daughter Astrid and I went to the dressmaker close where we live to fix some clothes. She is a lady who takes care of her 15 year old grandson and 9 year old granddaughter alone.
She told me that she is going through a difficult time with her granddaughter, who is having panic attacks and crying a lot at school since her older brother changed schools. She even said that she was thinking of looking for a psychologist and even a psychiatrist to prescribe medicine for the girl.
In my heart I thanked my Love as I knew He took me there to tell her about HomeGrown Ministries and the wonderful stories of Erin where our children and grandchildren have the opportunity to know the Lord as their Loving Heavenly Father .
I specifically told her about My First Love, Closer than a Brother, and that she and her granddaughter could read together.
I noticed how the lady, who is a woman who believes in the Lord, was interested in what I told her. Even when Astrid and I were leaving, she told me to don’t forget to send her the HomeGrown link!!!

I love that GOd Works in mysterious ways and uses us to help others. as i write this comment i just finish editing a podcast where i read, well better said we read the ch 1 closer than a brother and my little mister had what to share from what he learned and his experiences so i will be sharing with you, so more than homeschooling him it is also time for us to spend with them and talk about their everyday. I have one child only so we usually talk about lot of things and these resources just help me find a way to relate what he reads with what he lives.
