  1. O yes, school uniforms…..:):) And we want them to have clean uniforms everyday. I used to let them wear the school skirts, pants, jerseys and tracksuits two days, (IF it was still clean) with clean shirts/t-shirts/socks everyday (depending on the season, because during winter they wear school tracksuits, t-shirts and jerseys). When they got home from school, they had to take off their uniforms and put on normal clothes on which they could play or get dirty in.

I also wash at least one load of washing per day to prevent a built up or running out of clean clothes. Because we almost always have sunshine in SA, I hang the clothes outside to dry and only use my tumble-dryer when it rains or during winter when the days are shorter. Something I do, and it saves me a lot of time, is to hang everything that must be on hangers, on the hangers before I hang them outside, put pairs of socks together on the line and then roll them up as I take the washing off, and fold as I go.

I have specific days for washing bedding and towels every week. I also hang my towels in the sun for a hour or two everyday which keeps them fresh between washes.

I do not like to iron :):) and try and buy clothes that do not need ironing :):), but school uniforms must be ironed, and some clothing items need to be ironed, not even the tumble dryer can remove the creases (I’ve tried :)) So I have to Seek Him regarding ironing and not letting the pile built-up…

    1. Totally agreed!! Seek Him always, that simple fact has changed my life forever!!!
Take one at the time, one chore at the time, and by the afternoon I have everything done!!
      He will lead the way!!

  2. I feel so identified with my clothes, even though my load is small because I have only one daughter, I always look for my Beloved to find out which one should be washed by hand and another by washing machine due to the level of dirt it may have. Although they seem simple tasks, it is always nice to have His direction even in the simplest tasks

  3. Hahaha yup laundry is such a BIG part of my life too!! As Adina said we have lots of sun here in South Africa, l don’t own a dryer there’s no need for it here where l live, some days it’s sooo hot and humid im sweating by the time I’m done hanging the washing… what we have here in South Africa is what we call Sta Soft it’s the nice smelling laundry liquid perfume and my Husband always has me splurge on this because it’s quite expensive if it’s not on sale… 😅 Especially the one called Comfort sta soft… so also love the smell of clean clothes especially with the smell of this she soft… l remember there was a time that l could not afford the nice laundry detergents but He has me by them when they on special and HE provides 🙌🏾

    1. Oh I love the smell of StaSoft Atarah, I especially love the delicate fragrance of the Baby one. But I had to stop using it because some clothing like gym clothing doesn’t react very well with StaSoft and my washing machine started to build up from it terribly, leaving black flakes on my washing. Now I just buy good quality washing powder (whatever one is on special and He leads me to buy), I love the smell of Ariel Downy! But during our dry winters I will use StaSoft sparingly on jerseys and clothing that builds up a lot of static during the winter months, nothing worse that walking on the treadmill and getting shocked from the static built up :):):):)

    2. Here our brand is Suavitel!! And yes it makes everything smell divine!! And He does provides these small details!! Love to see you share how you do yours!!!
By the way I sundrying my clothing!! 😍🤩
