  1. This is WONDERFUL Isabella!! We share sooo much—like your heart for children and we both have 4 daughters. And I too could never have enjoyed my 7 children without relying on a schedule. I’m so excited you have started this podcast and that you’ve created SHORT clips.
For those of you who don’t have a schedule

  2. I agree with you Isabella, without a schedule, I would not have been able to homeschool my children. I am grateful that my Husband did not throw it all at me at once. First I was able to work from home and establish a schedule for myself that way and then He made it possible for my children to be homeschooled. It is amazing how He does all of that and so much more! It is also good for my children, because they know what to expect next and that has an impact on their behaviour as well. What He has shown me, is that a lot of the children’s bad behaviour would sometimes stem from uncertainty, so if they know exactly what to expect, they are also more at peace and for those days that He decides to throw our schedule out of the window, because man plans his ways, then we know we can just lean on Him more to get us through the day.

  3. Thank you for sharing Isabella! At the moment I am a W@H but without my children who stays at their dad. But while they still stayed with me during the week and they had to go to school and do homework or study, I also had a set schedule. I used to wake up early to have some quiet time and then wake them up at exactly the same time each morning, going through exactly the same morning routine each day. Also after school we had a set routine for homework / study. Also our evening routines were always exactly the same, dinner, bath time, bible study, sleep. And it does help the children and gives them a sense of security to have a routine so they never have to wonder what comes next.

I homeschooled only during the pandemic and during the months the schools were closed, but we had a set routine during that time with everything printed and prepared in advance, their work areas were always ready to start the new days work and when they finished everything was packed, filed and stored away neatly for the next day. They knew it was schoolwork first, then play.

But even in this season without my children with me during the week, as a W@H I have to stick to some form of a routine, although I am not as strickt with my routine as when the kids were here, and follow His lead most of the time, I do try to maintain some form of a routine to get everything done.

  4. There’s no need for me to also comment since you have 2 perfect EWs \o/\o/\o/ supporting your hands in PRAISE, Isabella. But I did want to encourage you to post your podcasts DAILY if you’re keeping them to 2-3 minutes. I am sure I speak for the rest of us it’s too long to wait for just another bite hahaha.
