Isaiah 54:2, 3: “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.”
Today I want to thank my Beloved because I have been asking Him for a few days to enlarge my heart to accommodate all that I sense is coming, both materially and spiritually, and He is already at work!
I am on holiday with my earthly father and two of my daughters, and tomorrow my three little nephews arrive, whom I didn’t know how I was going to welcome because of my remnants of poverty mentality and because I don’t seem to have anything left, and also because of some misunderstandings with my sister that the enemy tried to put in my heart. But I went to Him in prayer every day, to talk it over with my Beloved and I surrendered everything to Him.
I have just spoken to my sister, my heart has been softened by my Heavenly Father and I know it is going to be a precious few days with much of the family together even though it all falls on my tent and there seems to be no room. But He has told me to widen it, not to be sparse and to enlarge my home to accommodate everyone.
Thanks be to my Beloved who never fails, who always transforms circumstances for the better and, best of all, who transforms and cleanses my heart every time I face a trial. If I hold His hand, everything dissolves and the walls that seemed insurmountable, crumble before my eyes and only His Love remains.
