Yes I have the same, when my children are bored, I just leave them, and within a few minutes they think of something to do, sometimes with toys like their Lego building cities, or just go and play soccer outside. Or they start to paint or play with clay. I taught them how to draw with chalk on the paving outside to play hopscotch, but normally it ends up as a huge piece of art:) And the simplest things like mud or rocks can keep them busy for a long time. I also left my children to play in mud or sand, to just get dirty like we did as children:):)

  2. My children would never tell me that they are bored because I do what my mother used to do. The moment I would tell my mother I am bored, she would make sure I have something to keep my hands busy with. I was always a bit irritated when she did that, but looking back now, keeping my hands busy, was good for me and of course she would always let us work together so it always turned into bonding time with either her or my siblings.
