I cannot say this enough, but I love the new My Beloved Child so much and cannot say thank you enough to my Husband for leading Erin to this one for the children.
This morning, my children read today's entry and I was able to use it as a moment to talk to them about something that they were upset about yesterday.
My Husband knew that yesterday there would have been too much emotion attached in order for me to say anything to them or use it as a moment to teach them.
This morning all was calm and I was able to explain how we are not always kept from the fire, but that we are always protected in the fire so we can emerge with not even the smell of fire on our clothes.

I have to agree with you Yvonne, the My Beloved Child is a blessing, like all the lessons and devotionals we find here, it always speak to a situation you are going through. Even if you read it for the second or third time, there is always something new that our Beloved leads us to depending on what we are going through.
